Finance Transformation Project Manager

Typ úvazku
Full-time

🩷About us At PLG Group, we connect people with culture — from concerts, theatre, and festivals to exhibitions and other live events across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. PLG Czech Republic consists of three strong local brands with a long tradition: Ticketportal has been on the scene since 2002, GoOut since 2011, and Ticketstream since 2001. Our long-term goal is to provide partners and customers with simple access to every corner of cultural and sports life. On our platforms, everyone can find an event that is just right for them and purchase tickets immediately. Thanks to the backing of an international company and the combined know-how of three connected local teams, we have access to top-tier technological capabilities. At the same time, our philosophy remains simple: we operate openly, creatively, and close to the people who create culture every day.

💚 Your role

As a Finance Transformation Project Manager, you will lead finance integration and automation projects from initial concept through to implementation and go-live. Alongside project ownership, you will bring hands-on accounting expertise, improve finance processes, and help the team deliver accurate, timely reporting.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead finance integration and automation projects end to end, from scoping and planning through implementation, testing, and rollout.
  • Review finance processes and identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone work that can be streamlined or automated.
  • Design practical improvements and coordinate their implementation with Finance, IT, and external vendors or implementation partners.
  • Manage timelines and risks, communicate progress to stakeholders, and support data migration, system configuration, testing, and user training.
  • Ensure new processes and tools are adopted and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Between project phases, contribute to monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Help improve the quality, speed, and reliability of financial reporting.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience redesigning accounting processes and reducing manual work while maintaining accuracy, internal controls, and compliance.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to drive projects forward independently.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and clear communication with finance and technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent Czech and English.
  • Nice to have: experience with finance transformation projects and implementations of ERP, accounting, reporting, or automation tools; experience with Abra or a similar ERP.
