The Chief Financial Officer is a core member of Footshop's executive leadership team, responsible for the company's financial health, strategic planning, and long-term value creation. The CFO is accountable for financial reporting, controlling, treasury, cash flow, and tax while simultaneously acting as a strategic business partner to the CEO and leadership team. This is not a purely technical finance role: we expect the CFO to operate as a co-pilot of the business, bringing financial intelligence to commercial, operational, and investment decisions. The CFO also serves as the primary point of contact for the supervisory board, external auditors, investors, banking partners and financial institutions.
What is it all about?
👟 Financial Leadership & Business Partnering
Own and continuously improve the company's financial reporting, management accounts, and business performance framework.

Build and maintain tools and templates that help commercial and operational managers understand the financial impact of their decisions.
Bring proactive financial perspective to strategic discussions, new initiatives, and investment decisions.
Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with strategic priorities.
👟 Controlling & Reporting

- Own the preparation of statutory and management accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and audit readiness at all times.
- Drive automation and AI adoption within the finance function to reduce manual work and increase reporting speed, reliability and efficiency.
- Report consolidated results to the supervisory board and public market investors (Prague Stock Exchange).
👟 Treasury, Cash Flow & Risk Management
- Manage the company's liquidity, working capital, and cash flow planning — including inventory financing, which is Footshop's primary capital requirement.

- Maintain and develop banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing structures appropriate for Footshop's growth trajectory.
- Oversee insurance, tax planning, and compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
- Monitor and manage financial risks related to inventory stock positions, brand payment terms, and market expansion.
👟 M&A and Strategic Investment
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of acquisitions aligned with Footshop's expansion strategy (e.g., new markets, adjacent categories, enabling capabilities).
- Build and maintain financial models for M&A opportunities, fundraising scenarios, and major capital allocation decisions.
- Act as the internal owner of M&A processes — from initial screening and due diligence through to closing and post-merger integration.
- Leverage and develop external relationships with advisors, legal counsel, and financing partners for deal support.
👟 Investor Relations & Supervisory Board
- Serve as the face of Footshop toward investors, analysts, financial institutions and the supervisory board.
