In this role you will
- Work with models and their adaptations in Python using tools like PyTorch, Transformers, Hugging Face Datasets, Pandas, NumPy, and more, including language models such as GPT, BERT, Llama, Phi and agents built on top on them.
- Work on AWS infrastructure such as S3, EKS, SQS, SageMaker, Data Wrangler, EC2.
- Experiment with PySpark, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, vector databases to explore their capabilities.
- Deliver solutions using aiohttp web applications, Python multithreading, and async coroutines.
- Continuously deploy and write unit tests, ensuring functionality with CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy into production using Terraform, Docker containers, and ECR.
- Explore new technologies like FST, Ray, Temporal, n8n, or AWS innovations such as GLUE or Bedrock.
- Communicate directly with clients on smaller projects and proofs of concept.

You'll excel your best if you have
- Enthusiasm for both research and production-quality software development.
- Eagerness to continually learn in the ever-evolving field of machine learning.
- Experience training and testing new models, particularly in NLP or ASR.
- Strong software engineering skills in API development, containerized services, parallelism, basics of distributed systems, queues, events, and databases (both SQL and NoSQL).
- Understanding of service monitoring and operations.
- Openness to sharing and learning from new experiences and perspectives.
