The Retail Expansion Specialist will be responsible for spearheading the opening of our physical stores across various European cities. This role requires a strategic approach to identify optimal locations, develop expansion plans, and execute store openings while ensuring alignment with Footshop's operational standards. The successful candidate will focus on enhancing market presence, driving profitability, and delivering a consistent customer experience across all new retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
👟 Develop and implement a retail expansion strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives.
👟 Conduct market analyses and identify potential locations for new stores.
👟 Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, IT) and external partners (real estate agencies, suppliers) to ensure successful store openings.
👟 Oversee the expansion budget.
👟 Coordinate projects and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
👟 Build and manage a team involved in the expansion process.
Requirements:
👟 Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail, preferably in expansion or store management.
👟 Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
👟 Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
👟 Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
👟 Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
👟 Knowledge of the retail market in European countries is an advantage.
👟 Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
