About the team
We are a BizDevOps multidisciplinary team (IT, FIN, RISK) using Scrum agile methodology. We closely cooperate with IT Development Team, that gives us opportunities to gain interdisciplinary overlap and use modern technologies, e.g. Python or Azure cloud.
We provide support and continuous development of our internal application used for the internal & external reporting according to the regulatory requirements of Solvency II / IFRS17. We have end users from 10 countries from Finance and Risk organization.
What will you do?
Collects, analyses, and refine business and IT requirements (from IFRS17 and local GAAPs), to the development team. IT analyst creates refined user stories on team's backlog and oversees they are identifiably traced within release management process.
- As a member of BizDevOps team, works on implementing received requirements to Aptitude solution (3rd party software). Implementation is realized in SQL procedures, configurations in xls format, and adjustments to Scheduler files.
- Participates in all project life-cycle phases with IT analysis, minor developments, unit testing of own implementations, and bug fixing.
- The bug fixing is required mostly for configurations of accounting engine. Root cause analysis and debugging is required for ST, SIT, UAT phases, as well as during the production runs.
- Supports the team in Incident, Change, and Problem management on Production, and manage Production activities in compliance with ITIL processes.
- Be able to report on any results with analytical storytelling, which includes describe the use case, identify and collect the underlying data, process the data (incl. cleaning), visualise in a right form, present to target audience, explain the context and deviations, highlight important features from presented data. Currently we use Power BI to help with transparency of Operational tasks on production and in release management and visualizing of Bugs root cause analysis.
- Communication with multiple teams from reporting chain is required to align and coordinate on assigned topic.
How your profile should look like?
2+ years' experience of work in business or IT analysis, preferably with reporting applications
- Proficient usage of SQL (queries, procedures), MS Excel (pivot tables, queries, formulas), Power BI.
- Usage of python is advantage (opportunity to learn it on the job).
- Usage of AI tools is supported on the project in pilot initiatives.
- Usage of automation tools for improving efficiency is supported on the project.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards is advantage. IT industry knowledge is necessity.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and willingness to work in this style
- Fluent and comfortable in professional English
- Ability of independent logical thinking, good communication skills, pro-activity.
