Director of Product

• Assume ownership of the vision of the whole portfolio of Trezor HW products

• Determine the market and hardware requirements necessary for the successful new generation of Trezor products
• Lead the cross-disciplinary (product, business, design, and engineering) teams to align on priorities
• Be responsible for effective communication and escalation of risks and dependencies while ensuring timely decisions are being made
• Be comfortable interacting with senior leadership, providing recommendations to support product level decisions.
• Operate effectively in ambiguity. Apply process where it creates value, and design process where it’s needed. Recognize the situations where each approach is most appropriate.
• Perform roadmap scenario modeling, and market analysis for the recommended HW platform factoring in performance, features, cost, and time-to-market tradeoffs.
• Partner with internal stakeholders in engineering, production, finance, and business groups to drive a competitive and executable hardware roadmap strategy
• Become a Trezor mission advocate, efficiently translating users needs into product and business requirements
• Conduct market research through our in-house User Research team and analyze customer feedback to drive impactful product development
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and positioning
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our products remain competitive
• Understand bitcoin and wider crypto use cases, Trezor’s current and potential users, and communicate those efficiently to the rest of the organization
• Distill abstract business concepts and user needs into elegant creative solutions
• Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members who work under them
• Coach and grow the knowledge and expertise capacity of the team
• Conceive, build, and run product demos to align the organization around key HW product initiatives
• Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing HW product team

• 4+ years of experience of working as a senior product executive or other relevant position

• Strong people management and leadership skills in order to hire, develop, and inspire the cross-disciplinary team
• Proven customer obsession in prior roles where customer requirements were gathered and implemented into a product.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, and internal teams
• Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with various teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design and technical solutions for approval
• Proven leadership of multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills with proven ability to present to a wide range of cross-functional partners across different teams and levels of the organization.  Executive Communications experience preferred.
